Currently, I upload about once a week, but take the weekends off never. I'm more focused on my original stories at the moment. The only story I'm working on right now with any consistency is Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelist Rebellion. Check out the Development blog over on my blogspot.

Because I started off writing completely original stories before coming here, I try to set a standard for myself when it comes to writing fanfics:

1. No self-insert.
2. No wish fulfillment.
3. No cross over.
4. If I'm using a pre-existing character, no changing of their character or mindset for the purpose of the plot. I consider that a contrivance, and contrivances are bad.
5. Unless it's some kind of character study, use original characters and form an original plot.
6. Always set the story after the events of the latest canon. No overwriting history unless it is for the purpose of examination.
7. Always try to bring something new to the source material. I think the source material should only be the foundation on which to build the fanfic off of.

That probably sounds pretty conceited to a lot of people, but please note that I don't think you have to follow these guidelines to write a good fanfic. These are just the guidelines I use myself and what you can expect from my stories. If you want to see a typical alternate history, alternate universe, or crossover, you will not find any of that here. But that doesn't mean I think they're bad.
