Academy era: Bones gets a call from from an injured Jim

Jim is not feeling well and what starts off as a really bad headache leads to another diagnosis, one that may not have a medicinal cure. Bones will have a difficult decision to make with a little assistance from Spock.

"What the hell happened to you?" McCoy slowly stood from the desk, watching Jim walk toward him with a slight limp to his gait. He suppressed a curse. "I just left you two hours ago." What happened after Kirk returned from Kronos? An interlude between Kirk and McCoy.

A routine mission goes bad when Kirk, Spock, and McCoy find themselves crashed on a remote planet, injured, and hidden from the Enterprise. To make matters worse, the planet's inhabitants appreciate neither Starfleet nor unexpected visitors.

The doctor had just asked how bad the pain was when the pain spiked. Sherlock's initial response was a gasp that evolved into a whimper. "Ten," he gasped. "Ten..."

Yeah... pure silliness. So each Avenger gets a chapter dedicated to some one taking care of them when they get sick. This is not slash though if you really want it you can read between the lines.
