Humanity had been expanding across the stars for over 5 centuries in relative peace. But an alien alliance known as the Covenant wishes to destroy humanity entirely. It's the eve of the centennial anniversary of the beginning of the Human-Covenant War. A mere twenty years after the discovery of Prothean Ruins on Mars. A simple case of poor communication leads to a brief but violent conflict erupting and leads to the United Earth Government and it's military arm the UNSCDF coming onto the Galactic Stage of politics, mysteries, and adventures.

There is nothing fair, just, or honorable about war. There is only winning and losing, the living and the dead. Humanity has learned this truth and has ascended to the stars. What effect will this have on the rest of the galaxy, one that has experienced millennia of peace? Will it be able to maintain the peace or will it be ushered into a new age of war? 43 years after an alien invasion ravages the Earth, humanity is still recovering when a portal to another world opens in Iceland. With it comes an invading army who sought to conquer all before it. Relay 314 has been opened - the first in many hundreds of years, marking the dawn of a new age. The Council hadn't anticipated to find much; dust on the solar wind, or perhaps even a habitable world or two. They expected to find peace - hoped for it, really. But it wasn't to be so. They studied Organics. All they ever saw was fear from Sentient Synthetics. Geth had no place in their world. But by chance they discovered a species on the brink of extinction. Even after seeing their world burned, Humanity was able to stand up again, and push beyond their pre-war status and reach the heavens. But how will a hardened Humanity handle life among the stars? And how will others react to this aggressive newcomer?

After a long, terrible war, the Federation of Sovereign Empires forms as the product of the alliance created early in the Great War between the Covenant Separatists and the UNSC. Time passes as they progress greatly, eventually discovering the existence of other galactic governments. The events that will follow will change the course of the galaxy in more ways than one. The year is 2650, nearly a century since the end of the Great War and the fall of the Covenant Hegemony. In that time great advances have been made in both technology and society, and the new government of the New Species Alliance enters a golden age. When eezo is completely missed by humanity and they get an extra 100 years to develop, they're far more noticeable on the galactic stage. This is despite the Mass Effect side running on Over Analysis rules, and therefore being much more powerful. Add to that some culture shock, and you've got a recipe for either disaster or awesome and I'm not sure which!

Opening a dormant relay is not something anyone really plans for, then again neither is being hunted by Batarian pirates.

Decades have passed since the devastation of the Human-Covenant War, with both factions forging new bonds with each other and other foreign powers that reach the galactic stage. Years after meeting a species remarkably similar to humanity, a relic is found in the icy moons of Harvest. Little does the galaxy know that this find would ignite wars for both power, and survival.

Thirty-five years have past since the end of the Human-Covenant War. Having reclaimed most all its previous glory, the UNSC exploration locates a massive artificial construct in the outer orbit of a star. While investigating the object alongside their Sangheili allies, new aliens come forth from the construct and bring humanity into a fate they never expected. ON HIATUS

With the Ravagers defeated once and for all, the Earth Defense Force spreads outwards from earth and become the Alliance Defense Force as they prepare for any and all threats to humanity. Whether the enemy is overzealous turians, slavers or giant sentient dreadnoughts, the ADF will take them all on with big guns, ships, bipedal mechs, giants insects and dragons.

When you become an extragalactic entity, meeting other galactic civilizations becomes an inevitable occurrence, and First Contact rarely goes well for the less-advanced society. Pre-ME through ME3. Mistakes are a universal constant, they are made constantly by every race that has ever been known. But mistakes made by a single Batarian ship and the Turians in pursuit of it, will have far more reaching consequences than most. Halo/Mass Effect Crossover, AU

They contained little more than mentionings of an Alien Society; as a result, humanity develops on a completely different path than what was intended, and when first contact is made not with the Turians, but a desperate, destitute race viewed as beggars and thieves, how will this dying race change Humanity? You all liked my Codex so I decided to do a story! So for you new people here's the premise: UNSC super militaristic after the war and built up an empire to match it, HSA being founded by the insurrectionists back in the 2540's an 171 years later once again meeting there old FORGOTTEN foe, and the 12 colonies and Citadel trapped between both.

Imagine a Halo/ME Xover where humanity didn't: become BFF's with the elites, stomp the turians at Shanxi, become besties with the quarians, defend the krogan and true geth against the EVIL council and then kick said council to the curb. Imagine it didn't become just a retread of the first game. Imagine it didn't start with a timeline. This is my attempt at that.
