![]() Mmm.. this account has that new car smell... Hi, I'm LockedDoorsandDimTables (there is a reason behind calling myself this, but I'm just not going to tell you what it is). You can call me LockedDoors, by the way. I've written on FF before, using a different account to this one. Unfortunately, my last account became public knowledge to people I knew in -scary music- the REAL WORLD (:O) so I had to stop using it - but now I'm back, baby! ..Sorry, that was so corny. -.-' I'm aiming to try and get at least one of the stories I've currently got simmering away up by.. say, next week. I want to write a few more chapters of it before I even think about posting it, as I have a nasty habit of dropping things out of sheer laziness a chapter or two in. If I do that, please feel free to hit me. Hard. Stories I'm currently working on/hoping to start writing soon: AU. Multi-Chapter. Jobless, skint and in danger of finding themselves on the street, Bakura and Yami know that they have to do something about their financial situation. Quick. A plan, hatched out of desperation to get out of the rut they've now found themselves in, leads not only to the kidnap of a seemingly rich school boy, but perhaps to the uncovering of some rather unsettling secrets that some people would prefer stay buried. YxYY. AU. Multi-Chapter. God, it was so stupid it almost made him laugh. His older brother was dead, and here he was thinking how much this stray cat looked like him. Still grieving his brother's suicide, Bakura Ryou knows that acceptance is a key part of the healing process, but should you accept that someone is dead when you're certain they've been reincarnated as a cat, and you've taken in said cat? It's crazy, but Malik believes him somehow. It's only when things get weird, with incidents of other personalities coming out during sleep-walking episodes and nightmares of long-dead Ancient Egyptian counterparts starting to occur, that both Ryou and Malik realise that the whole situation is far more complex and sinister than they had first imagined. AU. Multi-Chapter. The child is without compassion, he cares for no-one - or so they think. Seen to be a sociopath, the boy's heartlessness is utilised as a weapon by the government. Alongside Mariku, a boy with a sadistic nature and a bloody past, Bakura becomes part of a secret government-run torture, assassination and execution team. He knows, though, that he cares for the boy in his nightmares, the one that is brutally tortured - the one that resembles him to the point where it's almost scary. How can he be without compassion when he knows that he would lay down his own life for that boy's safety? YBxRB. YxYY. MxM.
