After defeating Alder for the title as Unova Champion, White receives a letter from her childhood friend, Black, to head to Nimbasa City. However, rather than the peaceful reunion she was anticipating, her life is thrown into more chaos as she becomes tangled into the business of Subway Masters Ingo and Emmet as they attempt to undermine a plot intent on destroying the region.
