The world won't suffer if it ends too soon. Our integrity sells for so little, but it is all we really have. It is the very last inch of us. But within that inch, we are free. You wear a mask for so long you forget who you were beneath it. If you won't let us dream, we won't let you sleep. We are told to remember the idea, not the man, because a man can fail. There's no certainty - only opportunity. But again, truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty you need only look into a mirror. We are everyone and we are no one; we are anonymous. We do not forgive and we do not forget. One of the greatest life lessons is what appears to be the end is often just a better place to begin again. Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. Being nice to someone you hate doesn't make you fake. It means you're mature enough to tolerate your hatred of them. It's the moment of truth and the moment to lie. It's the moment to live and the moment to die. But loyalty keeps her. I love rumors. I always find out amazing things about myself that I never knew before. I think the only reason people hold onto memories so tight is because memories are the things that don't change, even when people do. Never allow your happiness to depend on a relationship. I think it's a very special thing to find love. It's beautiful and nothing can match it. But make sure you find other things in life to love besides your love. What's done is done. What's gone is gone. One of life's lessons is moving on. It's okay to look back and think of fond memories, but keep moving forwards. I saw that you were perfect so I loved you. Then I found out that you weren't perfect, and I loved you even more. Fall in love with someone who deserves your heart, not someone who will play with it. Never force yourself to have a space in someone's life. If someone knows your worth, they'll make room for you themselves. Being kind is good. But being too kind is asking for trouble. It allows other people to underestimate your worth and allows them to lose respect for you. While your kind to others, learn to value yourself too. I'm not afraid to love a man. I'm not afraid to kill him either. Sometimes I question my sanity. Occasionally it replies. When I cared, you didn't. When I stopped caring, you started. He who stands for nothing will fall for anything. Sometimes I'm afraid to be happy, because when I'm happy, everything goes wrong. Truth is like wine, it gets better with age. You either die a hero, or live long enough to become a villain. Character is how you treat someone that can't do anything for you. People ask me why it's so hard for me to trust them. I ask them why it's so hard for them to keep a promise The world suffers not because of the violence of bad people, but because of the silence of good people. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up your present. What others think of you is none of your business. Time heals almost everything. Just give it time. Don't compare your life to others and don't judge them. You have no idea what their journey is all about. Stop thinking too much. It's alright not to know the answers. They will come to you when you least expect it. No one is in charge of your happiness except for you. Be careful with your words. Once they are said, they can only be forgiven not forgotten. In life, you are given the test that teaches you the lesson. The best feeling is when you're happy because you have made someone else happy. It hurts to love someone and not to be loved in return. But what's more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let them know how you feel. It's sad to meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it wasn't meant to be and you have to move on. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word and then walk away feeling like it's the best kind of conversation you have ever had. It's true that we don't know what we have until it's gone, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it only takes a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be. You only have one life and one chance to do all the things that you want to do. Always put yourself in the other person's shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person too. A careless word may kindle strife. A cruel word may wreck a life. A timely word may level stress. A loving word may heal and bless. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying. Stop waiting for things to happen. Go out and make them happen. You may lose the people that you love and you may lose the things that you have. But no matter what happens, never lose yourself. Rain falls because the clouds can no longer hold the weight. Tears fall because the heart can no longer handle the pain.
