Laura Kalpakian wrote, what she calls, "The Sequel to Les Misérables". The book, entitled Cosette, does not deserve the title of 'sequel' and can, in my opinion, barely even qualify as a fanfiction at best. Here are my notes on each chapter and the reasons why I hate this 'book'.

What if Marius loved Eponine, and saved her at the barricade? Set a little before, and during the play.

It was a starless night with a promise of rain. Two men running to save a soul. He wanted a reason to get Seph in his hands, and a suicide attempt could do just that for him. Full summary inside.

But the trip revels the truth behind many relationships, including ones that blossomed years ago and ones that were never given a chance.

He truly enjoyed annoying her with it. Her feelings toward the stubble - both antagonistic and pleasurable - come to a head one night at the Musain.

Éponine needs to know that Marius is still alive, so she goes to the barricade. She does not care for her own life, only for his.

It was an all consuming type of burn. It started in her heart and spread all the ways to the tips of her toes. For him, it was the same.

The barricade has fallen, all of the revolutionaries have died.
