Hi my name is Satin Johnson, Satin S. Johnson- I enjoy writing. Well, Actually the word enjoy may be an understatement, I breath writing and any other creative form of expression. I think it's pretty cool to have an inspiration, an emotion, a story, a desire, a dream, a small hint of motive and basically be able to transform it into art. It's pretty amazing to say the least. My ultimate favorite form of this "art" would have to be POETRY first and foremost. I published my first poetry book in Jan of 2011. This time of my life was very chaotic and yet full of growth for me. This season was filled by a pregnacy, deployment, spiritual journey, indenpendent branch off, motivated dreams leading to my first publishing experience, and a long road ending in a surgery by the end of that year. It was a full year for myself and my family and I didn't have time to promote as I should have but with that being said here I am today eagerly awaiting my next journey and spilling my heart and soul one ink filled page at a time. "I WRITE" Writing is my passion and I believe it's one of the things I am meant to do. When I write I have an opportunity to allow my soul to speak. Our outter image, what we reveal to others, hides our inside self, our "soul." These two parts may be totally different or totally alike.
