Hello!

My name is Sarah and I'm an 18 year old emergency medical services major from northern Ohio. I am a nationally and state certified basic EMT and I work for my local fire department.

I am a huge fan of Emergency!, CHiPs, and MacGyver. Growing up, my parents didn't allow my younger brother and I to watch Disney or Nickolodeon, so we watched classics instead. I saw my first episodes of Emergency! and CHiPs when I was nine years old and I've been in love since.

My favorite characters are John Gage (E!), Mike Stoker (E!), Hank Stanley (E!), Jon Baker (CHiPs), Barry Baricza (CHiPs), Bonnie Clark (CHiPs), MacGyver (MacGyver), and Nikki Carpenter (MacGyver).

I love writing, both fanfiction and regular stories and I've been writing stories since I was eight. The first fanfiction I wrote was a Knight Rider fanfiction. I wrote fanfiction as a comfort mechanism when I was in middle school because I didn't have many friends and I haven't stopped writing it sense (even though I have quite a few friends now). Though I usually tend not to publish my works, I love reading other people's fanfics.

ps - Yes, John and Roy were one reason why I've decided to become a paramedic, but not the only reason. I grew up in a first responder/EMS family. Both my grandfathers were firemen, my paternal grandfather was one of the first EMTs in the town where my dad grew up and was also a fire chief, and my dad was a firefighter and an advanced EMT until I was 10. My extended family also includes a fire chief and a professional firefighter/EMT. I am the first girl in my family to be a rescue worker and one of the only fourth generation members of my fire department.
