"Yeah, right. Can't be Holly. It's not possible." Unless you fanfiction authors are more eccentric than I thought, that's most likely what you're thinking. But let me tell you the whole story.

See, this fanfiction thing has been a pet project of Foaly's for a while now. I don't know why, except that it's interesting to read stories about what we do (for the most part, anyway). What I want to know, though, is how a bunch of Mud Men found out about us anyway. There are books, that much is obvious. But who wrote them, and how did they know? Anyway, after I quit the LEP and started that detective agency with Mulch, he sort of got to be friends with Foaly (the hypocrite!) and next thing I knew, he was insisting that I write summaries of the people I know for this site. I tried asking him why, but he wouldn't tell me. All he said was that Foaly had done something to my computer that would make it explode if I didn't, or if I didn't tell the truth on the summaries. Now, normally I wouldn't care about something like that, but this is the only computer I have, and I can't afford another, since Mulch uses half the budget of our company on food and the other half on who knows what. (Must start doing the shopping myself.) So basically I am doing this against my will so that I don't risk my computer (I have an unfortunate addiction to e-mail). I do, however, have permission to tell you the real situation, since you already know about us.

So there you have it. This is why Captain Holly Short is spending time on fanfiction.net instead of e-mailing her friends (gah! Must have e-mail...).

My first summary shouldbe up in about a week. And now I am going to bed. Good night.
