Modern-day AU! Cosette is meeting a friend at the bank. Meanwhile, Police Inspector Javert is chasing a known criminal across the city. His chase culminates at the bank, where the criminal takes Cosette hostage. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that he's thought it through very well - which isn't a good thing.
