![]() Author has written 16 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, Harry Potter, Twilight, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Glee, Fifty Shades Trilogy, RuneScape, and Game of Thrones. NEWS My Runescape fics seem to be in Development Hell. I'd like to continue with them but I'm busy with real life work, and I'm currently working on an original fiction manuscript. Plus, I'm not as enthusiastic about Runescape as I used to be, I get way too much hate (especially in the form of slander) from the lore community, that really wears a guy down overtime. :( Fred Weasley Lives will be updated sporadically, due to my real life commitments. House of Hades won't be updated anymore, since I figured no one will be interested in reading it, because the official version that Rick Riordan wrote is already out. The story has already fulfilled its purpose, which was to predict how the next book would go. There are some ideas I came up with for the House of Hades but I never got to put them in the story, and they'll be included in my latest fic, the Destroyer of Olympus, so they wouldn't be lost. Destroyer of Olympus takes place after my version of the House of Hades, where the war with Gaea is over, but Percy gets some new unexpected enemies he must fight against. I will try my best to update it regularly. I swear on Styx that it will be, even with real life getting in the way. If you have any suggestions, concerns or comments, feel free to PM me. If you liked the House of Hades, and you're sad it's over, give Destroyer of Olympus a try. 2017 Update: As of now, Destroyer of Olympus' cancelled too. I lost my interest in the Percy Jackson series. I think the quality of the books took a sharp turn down in the Heroes of Olympus. House of Hades had some serious flaws, with an OOC Calypso (who went from sweet to tsundere for no good reason), Piper beats Khione and charmspeaks life back to a mechanical dragon, even though machines can't feel things the way organic life forms can, and Percy and Annabeth's journey through Greek hell was too easy, one of them should've stayed and died. It would've been a great opportunity for Percy to confront his flaw; if Riordan had him choosing between leaving hell and saving the world but letting Annabeth die or saving Annabeth and dying and leaving the world to Gaea, it would've been expected for Percy to choose the latter at first, but Annabeth then convinces him saving the world's more important than saving her and in the end, Percy overcomes his flaws but at a very heavy price. That would've been great, what a wasted opportunity. Blood of Olympus got worse. Aside from not getting any chapters told from Percy's point of view, the battle against Gaea was the most anti-climatic thing ever, The Last Olympian had better battle scenes, are you even trying anymore, Riordan? Jason and Piper were shilled pretty hard, but I didn't like them any better. Piper is still my least favourite out of the Seven, Jason's not that far behind. Percy's confrontation with his half-sister in the ocean sucked too, he's so guilty over torturing Akhlys, with her own poison in Tartarus that he doesn't fight back when Kymopoleia uses poison on him. Not only is not fighting back and just taking it the most pathetic thing one can do, Percy's dark side was something I liked seeing, getting rid of it so quickly was such a disappointment. Nico got over his crush on Percy waaay to quickly, it wasn't even realistic, that whole scene just read like Riordan was going "all right, I can't break up Percy/Annabeth, this is a kid's book, I can't do a threeway pairing, all right, let's quickly get this over with, c'mon Nico, act like you just erased all your feeling for Percy, even though in real life it'd take longer, especially since he's the first guy you liked, fall for this random guy instead." And speaking of Will, I can't bring myself to care about him. He's this guy I've never seen before, and he gets no development whatsoever, why should I care? "Because he's with Nico!!!" isn't enough. The Trials of Apollo got so bad, I couldn't even finish the first book in the series. I used to follow Riordan on Twitter and he'd never shut up about "muh diversity" and "muh representashun" in books, never mind if it makes sense in the context of the series or not, gotta shoehorn "muh diversity" in there (never mind that you can like and empathise with characters that aren't the same race/gender as you, and in the case that you can only emphathise with a certain character 'cause they're the same race as you, then you might have a problem), he liked to promote certain writers solely on the grounds that they're not Fucking White Males or their characters aren't Fucking White Males. His "muh diversity and muh representashun" agenda got really noticeable and really cringy in Trials of Apollo, he'd namedrop a bunch of characters with obviously foreign names, but he wouldn't develop them at all, and this just reeks of him virtue signalling and going "hey, look at what how multicultural and obviously not racist I am, look at all this shallow diversity!" Then there was the overly preachy "being gay is okay" message that's about as subtle as a flaming Molotov cocktail. If I wanted to be told that over and over again, I'd visit Tumblr. Or Buzzfeed. Or Mic. Or Vox. Or Salon. Or some other far left, mainstream site. His Magus Chase series has it just as bad. It's a series where everyone follows the Norse gods, yet we have a main character that's muslim. It makes no sense at all. This is just pathetic, Riordan, your virtue signalling's gotten to a point that it turns your books to shit, quit it. And I hear there's a part where the plot stops to have Magnus rant about cultural appropriation and homeless trannies. Holy shit. That makes want to never pick up the Sword of Summer or Hammer of Thor. If I wanted to get cancer I'd visit all those aforementioned sites above. And there's also a character that's mentally ill. Oh wait, Riordan calls that "genderfluid." (Sorry folks, there's only two genders, and you can't change it, dressing as the opposite gender, getting castrated, getting a boob job and pumping your body full of hormones doesn't change your Y chromosome into an X, nor does the reverse change your X chromosome into a Y, cry all you want, but facts don't care about your feelings). Now, he does expand on her character, so the virtue signalling isn't as obvious, but the fact the tranny exists is evidence of him carrying out his "muh representashun" agenda. Then he's also working with his publisher to make books centred around Indian, Mexican, Korean etc. mythology, but he won't be writing them 'cause he's just a Fucking White Male they're not his myths to tell. Well Riordan, going by that logic, are you Greek? Nordic? Egyptian? No? Then, they're not your stories to tell, you culture appropriating, privileged fuck. If we're gonna do this thing where you have to be Indian to write about Indian mythology, Brazilian to write about Brazilian mythology or Japanese to write about Japanese mythology, then you'd better be Greek if you want to write about Greek mythology, Nordic if you want to write Norse mythology, Egyptian if you want to write Egyptian mythology. But the final straw that made me cut all ties, that made me decide I'd never buy his shit again was the fact he couldn't shut up about his politics. He's a raging liberal, one look at his Twitter will tell you that (and funnily enough, he's the typical elite liberal that supports gays and Islam...hey stupid, you can only pick one, considering how muslims absolutely despise gays). He often makes anti-conservative, anti-Trump tweets and butthurt "what happened? why did Killary lose, it was her turn!" tweets. Now, I don't care what his political views are, and I'm not surprised he's very liberal, most writers/artists are, and the publishing industry's just as liberal as college, but you don't tweet shit like that without alienating some readers and that's exactly what happened with me. I realised I can't support someone who does not and would never respect my views (I'm extremely right-wing) and I said goodbye to his stories. Wow...that explanation was longer than I expected. Descent to Darkness is officially cancelled. Why, you ask? Because it was terrible that's why. At the time, I didn't think it was, but now when I go back to it, I can't even read it without cringing. My writing style has changed so much from then to now, back in those days I wasn't very experienced, I created Sues, I created bad storylines, I wrote really cheesy stuff that I (now) can't read without laughing. If for some reason, I went back to it, I'd have to reboot the entire thing, and even then I'm still unsure on whether or not I can make a decent story out of it.
