Beta Reading: You might have noticed that I have a Beta Reader page that I haven't done anything with for a long time. Beta Reading wise, I will look over something if it's a one-off, or if I know you and am following a fic anyway, but I'm not open to any new big projects. Sorry guys, but I'm at university now, doing quite a competitive course and that takes priority, which means you could end up waiting a long time for me to get back to you.

In-Progress Fics

The Caravan of Eragon: Sequel to The House of Eragon. It's been over a year. But I have not given up! It really is coming, guys! Chapter 15 is half done. My writing style has changed so much since this series started when I first joined FFnet in 2007 that I've found it difficult to keep the feel of this one the same. But I haven't given up and I still plan to finish this fic for good.

Remembrance: Chapter 3 up. 10 planned chapters. This was my first attempt at this genre. I hope to finish it this year so I can move on to some other exciting stuff. It's not likely to be updated that soon for personal reasons. Plus it's hard to write.

Paternity: Chapter 2 has been edited. Chapter 3 is in progress. I didn't write down my notes for it though, so I'll have to refresh myself with it. I'd originally planned it to have 4 chapters but we'll see.

Making A Memory: Was under revision. As of 18/01/2012, the prologue and chapter 2 have been revised and chapter 1 has been entirely rewritten. I'm happier with it now and Chapter 4 is almost ready for release.

Facilitating Fate: Chapter 3 up. Chapter 4 is nearly finished. I've written out the same scene from two points of view and I'm trying to decide which to go with. If I can't then I'll post both and let the reviewers decide which will stay there. This fic is one of the highest in terms of priority.

For The Ones You Love: Chapter 3 up. This fic isn't at the top of my list to update, so updates won't be very regular but I'm still writing this..

Not So Ancient History: This has become my 'unwinding' fic. Updates will probably be relatively regular - well, as regular as I get. Chapter 4 is up as of 19/01/2012. Chapter 5 is one I quite look forward to writing so it shouldn't be massively far behind.

Into Insanity: Chapter 2 up 19/01/2012. I have a lot planned for this fic. It's nice and multi-purpose. I'm not keen on chapter 2, but this one will get better. I don't put a lot of pressure on this one so again, updates shouldn't be as slow as they have been for fics like 'Remembrance'.

All of my older fics not on this list are either completed or on Hiatus.

And sadly, I have many other fics languishing in my laptop, waiting until I finish one of the ones I've already got...

Me: Searching the ocean to measure the average sample of thistles?

Louise: (Sagely) And find out there are none.

Louise: Yeah, it’s like: which came first, the chicken or the egg?
