Author has written 6 stories for Naruto, Batman, Wizard of Oz, Phantom of the Opera, and Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal. I am a writer and have been since the third grade. I love playing with words and weaving stories. I used to be an avid fanficiton writer, but over the years i've grown accustomed to working on original pieces and investing myself in my own worlds. I created this account a few years ago because my older account(whose name I no longer remember) was lost. As you can see, only one story has been published(Pfft--attention fail! I completely forgot that there were poems on here! I've decided after some consideration that i'm going to remove them, as the two Phantom ones really aren't that good. I mean, they were fine when I was 13 or 14 when I first wrote them, but now they pain me. The one Tolkien one is one that I am fond of, though now that I am older I realize that it is in fact inaccurate as Theoden was not the last of the Eorl House).I came across this five year-old(yikes!) one shot a while back and it has inspired me to re-engage with the fanfiction community. My first attempt at a chapter story is Stolen Magic and can be found in the Wizard of Oz section(1939 film verse, not book verse). It's my plan to use this story to help me conquer the issues I have completeing large projects. I initially planned to have been done with it by now but life doesn't always go according to plan. I try to publish as freqeuntly as possible though there have been some unsightly gaps between publishing that I ferverently apologize for. If you are a fan of Stolen Magic, know that I fully plan to finish this story. I don't care if it takes me another year. It will be finished. From now on I am going to try to atleast update monthly. Frankly I have no excuse to do anything less. I hope to read your reviews! If you're bored, read the random profile questions I found from surfing the web. STOLEN MAGIC Update(10/30/12): Because of school, work, and the chaos of life I've been forced to put SM on hiatus. I hope to be able to update again in this coming month, after the chaos of midterms has ended. I will definately have one or two chapters out during Thanksgiving break, but I'm optimistically hoping to have one more published in the earlier part of November. Never fear, I will be back! What was your favorite food when you were a child? Meatless Lasagna What’s the #1 most played song on your iPod? I don’t own an iPod since I find Apple’s track record with planned obsolescence to be appalling. I have a Sansa, and on my Sansa "It Never Was You" by Judy Garland is presently the most played song. It changes every week. What is one of your favorite quotes? "War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend."-J.R.R.Tolkien, The Two Towers What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity? My favorite activities vary depending on my mood. Some days I feel like knitting, other days I feel like running through the sprinkler like a jubilant child. What chore do you absolutely hate doing? Cleaning my room. It’s never dirty, just cluttered. What is your favorite form of exercise? Swimming What is your favorite time of day/day of the week/month of the year? My Favorite time of day is usually the two hours between the setting sun and the onset of night. My favorite day of the week is usually Thursday. My favorite month of the year is December. What’s your least favorite mode of transportation? I don’t care for cars and planes What is your favorite body part? Generally or personally? Personally, I think that my lips are my best physical feature. Generally, I tend to look at people’s eyebrows first. If the eyes are the windows to the soul then the eyebrows are the frame. What sound do you love? Rain If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for? It would be a masquerade tea party in order to celebrate my unbirthday. If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve seen before, what would you paint? Does scenery from my imagination count? As far as "real" scenery goes, I would probably paint a small bridge that covered a small stream that ran through our property when I was younger. I was convinced that the bridge led to a magical world. I still am. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be? Hmm…I don’t know for sure as I haven’t lived every age possible. Going by the ages I have been I would say I would want to be seventeen forever. I don’t know why. I just like the way the number sounds. If you knew the world was ending in 2012, what would you do differently? Well, it is 2012 and the world hasn’t ended. I render this question null and void. If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor? So many people to chose from: Gandalf, Grianne Ohmsford, Kelardy of Mindelan, Obiwan Kenobi. I’d be fine with any one of those. If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? I would like to witness the day when people stop being prancing idiots and stop murdering the earth and eachother. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Fly If you had to work on only one project for the next year, what would it be? Writing my first book If you were immortal for a day, what would you do? Well, am I immortal in the sense that I won’t ever die naturally or in the sense that I won’t die at all? If it’s the later then I would probably want to dive in the cenotes in South America If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to? Erm…I can’t answer this. I have pages worth of names that I find to be fantabulous. I imagine that I would probably have to settle with five middle names just to keep myself from going crazy. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? Queen Elizabeth II If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Dance a jig. Then I would give some of it to my parents because they deserve it If you were reincarnated as an animal/drink/ice cream flavor, what would it be? I would either be a raven or cat if I were an animal. I don’t know if you can actually be reincarnated into food. I will say that if I were to pick a drink and an ice cream flavor that represents me I would choose: Cream Soda and Mint Chocolate Chip If you could know the answer to any question, besides "What is the meaning of life?", what would it be? What does God need with a starship? If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose? Too many to choose from. I would probably want to choose one with magical powers. Which celebrity do you get mistaken for? I’ve never been mistaken for a celebrity in my life. What do you want to be when you grow up? A writer When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time? I usually memorize random facts. I’m a whiz at Jeopardy What would you name the autobiography of your life? A few times, though I admit it begrudgingly What was one of the best parties you’ve ever been to? A knitting party where we talked about how wondefully handsome Patrick Stewart is and questioned why ST:DS9 is never played on air but ST:E is. Because that simply isn’t right. What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up? I’m not prone to crying. I did cry when I saw Les Miserables on stage. What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done? Given myself a break. I’m very critical of myself. When I make mistakes, even simple ones, my mind just will not let it go. When I do give myself a break it is much more difficult than it should be. What was the last experience that made you a stronger person? Getting through college math. I still don’t care for math but I’m glad that I forced myself to sit through it and pass with a good grade, even if it took up most of my free time What did you do growing up that got you into trouble? Usually all I had to do was say something—anything—and I would somehow get into trouble. As a result I was a very quiet child When was the last time you had an amazing meal? Yesterday, when I made fired Tofu and White Bean salad What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received? The best give I have ever received was a Joker tote. The Best gift I’ve ever given(in my opinion at least) was a pair of homemade sock monkeys with hand sewn attire. The worst gift I’ve ever received was a half eaten cupcake. The worst gift I’ve ever given…well, you’d have to ask someone else. I’m very biased in that department as I think I give fantastic gifts What do you miss most about being a kid? The ability to dream big and run wild without being constantly criticized for it What is your first memory of being really excited? I almost drowned once. I was very excited when I did not. What was the first thing you bought with your own money? Pokemon trading cards When was the last time you were nervous? Yesterday What is something you learned in the last week? Writer’s block is not a myth but it is not a reality either. It’s something self-imposed, though generally unknowingly. It isn’t a conspiracy theory. Your muse has not gone on a lunch break. You’re simply not doing something right, and it becomes incredibly frustrating. The only way to overcome writer’s block is to write your way out of it. This method is painful but effective. What story does your family always tell about you? Something appropriately embarrassing I’m sure. At what age did you become an adult? What is this "adult" you speak of? I see no adults here. Is a picture worth a thousand words? Elaborate. That would depend entirely upon the picture and the person supplying the words. For instance, a picture may warrant a thousand word summary. A picture may also be summed up neatly in one word. It simply depends on the minds involved. Where’s Waldo? In his house The best part of waking up is? Realizing that you haven’t died in your sleep How now brown cow? She’s got it! By George she’s got it! Whasssssuuuupppppp? The ceiling, and beyond that the sky. Beyond the sky is space: the final frontier. |
