![]() Author has written 2 stories for Lord of the Rings. UPDATE- I'm currently 24 years old and recently graduated from university with a BA in Fine Art and Theater. I also just became a firefighter and am on my way to becoming an EMT here soon. I don't really write anymore, but I still read fanfic with a passion that can only have grown over the years. I'm NOT into Slash, but i love what some people call "bro-mances"...buddy/dynamic duo/brother fics are usually my poison. I love to get lost in sweeping long epics. I'm still pretty crazy when I want to be, but I think I've calmed down from the hyper teenager you may remember - life does that to you i guess. If you feel so inclined, drop me a line. I love to make new friends and catch up with old ones. Cheers! Genres I've read into and re-visit from time to time: Star Wars - Jedi Apprentice Back to the Future Earth Final Conflict Lord of the Rings Harry Potter Batman Begins/Dark Knight Nightwing Super Mario Bros. Thundercats Mighty Ducks Starsky and Hutch BBC's Merlin Sherlock Holmes Supernatural Pet Peeve: When characters recover from a concussion or serious injury in a day/couple hours. You can always tell the authors who either haven't done their research or haven't had a nasty blow to the head/broken bone. (Not that I recommend breaking a bone or smashing your face into a brick wall all in the name of research) but...Those that have know how horribly debilitating those types of injuries are. Even "mild" concussions will leave you whammied for days...and broken foot bones are torture to walk on...believe me, I know. So, seriously, unless the character has some super healing ablilities or the story realistically calls for it...don't insult the reader's intelligence, or in my case, memories of how long it can take to recover from these types of things. thanks. |
