What would it take for Mr. Darcy to propose again? Regency, AU, HEA (amazingly). Inspired by "The Reawakening" by easternbandit.

Mr Darcy wasn't one of the party that first came to Netherfield leading to altered events at the beginning of the story. Jane and Bingley came to an understanding much quicker and Darcy and Elizabeth first meet just before Bingley and Jane's wedding.

Circumstances arise, preventing Elizabeth Bennet's refusal of Mr. Collins' proposal. With Elizabeth betrothed to a man she does not love, to what lengths will Darcy go to win her heart and her hand?

What would have happened between Darcy and Elizabeth if Lizzy had been forced to accept Mr Collins? Would Darcy have been strong enough to forget her and walk away? Would Elizabeth let him?

Regency, D&E HEA. Elizabeth and Jane are children of Mr. Bennet's first marriage. The results of Ramsgate are more dire than in canon. We begin on the night of the Meryton Assembly.

Mr. Darcy is in a chaotic emotional state just a week after his failed proposal to Elizabeth Bennet. When he takes his frustrations out on a midnight ride, he comes across an upturned carriage, only to find the one and only Elizabeth injured inside.
