RANT

First of all, this is fanfiction. Why is it called fanfiction? It's pretty obvious, and I'm sure everybody knows this...but some people here need to be reminded of this again. We are not all gifted writers. We write for the pleasure of others to enjoy our story. Not only that, but for ourselves. Whether you want to improve, or share your stories. FAN, fiction! Stories written by fans!

I am not hating. That is too strong of a word to use. I understand that some writers out there have pet peeves about grammar, unrealistic ideas, or totally out of the ordinary pairings (?), etc.

I will use the word, dislike.

I dislike that some people here step down on others because of their writing ability. Not only that, but also what the author chooses to write about. If you don't like a story, don't read it. Don't waste your time typing away some hideous, outrageous comment to negatively hurt someone.

If there are grammar mistakes that you want to point out, put it in a way to help them, not make rude comments about it. It's pretty obvious that a writer wants to get better. Negative comments won't help that. Constructive criticism probably will.

I, myself, am not a good writer at all. I have all these amazing ideas that I come up with, but I can never truly put them to good use with my writing skills. I want to improve, and that's all there is to it.
