I like to read fanfics from time to time. My favorite type of fanfic is the kind that does not change too much from the original story from which it stems from. Some changes or additions to spice things up can be good, but too much and it just becomes a mess for me. Another thing I dread is when authors completely change characters to being different from their original personalities. To me, this shows a lack of respect, or even the lack of recognizing the original personalities to the characters. Hey, this is just my personal tastes.
