Just because they are fictional characters, it doesn't mean that they don't exist.

I have come to realize that over the years, both my interests and my hobbies have changed drastically. For example, when I started writing fanfiction, I was obsessed with Twilight, and could never imagine that I would survive past the hell dubbed Middle School.

I am still a die-hard Harry Potter fan till the end, however over the years I have transformed into an Otaku, and am now an official Marching Band Geek.

Thoughts of college were miles away, and now I'm planning on attending University next fall, and I still would rather watch Cartoons then sit through an episode of Glee. I cling to every episode of Supernatural like it's my bible, want to buy out BBC so they make Sherlock forever, and still haven't watched a single episode of Dr. Who, but can quote True Blood.

I blasts K-Pop music on my ipod everywhere I go alongside my trusty albums of Disney's Greatest Hits. I read books as if my life depends on it, and I work harder on my fanfiction writing then I do anything for school.

I believe that superheros exist, because Superman, Batman, The Flash, and The X-Men are really cool! I still read fairy-tales and hold every Disney princess and prince close to my heart and I hope and believe that one day my own happily ever after will come true.

I don't believe in true love, but I wish on stars that I someday will, and I and love dancing by myself in the mirror to my favorite songs.

I'm in older sister desperately hoping I've proved to my parents that even though I stayed up past bedtime, never ate my vegetables, and forgot to pick up my toys that I was and am a great role-model, because I love my brother and sister more then anything in the world.

I'm still that childish and naive girl that I was when I first started on this crazy site known as fanfiction. Only now instead of calling myself a child because I am one, I proudly call myself childish simply because I am not.

A lot has changed, but as you can see, just as much has stayed the same. So as my fandoms have changed, and my interests and obsessions have faded, grown, and altered along with my life, one thing that will always hold true is my devotion and love for all that is fairy-tale, make-believe, fictional nonsense of any and all sorts.
