His idea backfires and he soon finds himself taking care of his amnesiac girlfriend, keeping her away from her family and out of danger until he can fix his mistake. Set in Season 5A, during the Dark Swan arc.

A fight with the Dark One causes Emma to disappear and A child version of self show up in story brook. The only way to break the curse is with true love's kiss but Emma has no memories of storybrooke or how she got there.
