Foggy looked at Karen helplessly. He knew how much Matt hated hospitals; hell, he'd barely see a doctor. The last thing he wanted was to betray his friend's trust, but even more so, he didn't want to see him die.

Post season 1 - After they have taken down Fisk, Nelson & Murdock is having a very good moment: they have a lot of clients and they also get paid. Everything changes when Stick cames back into Matt's life, asking for his help. Will Daredevil accept to work again with him? Will he cross the line between punching people and killing them? -[no adult contents]

An old friend needs some legal representation from Nelson and Murdock, but perhaps the others in the case are the ones you need to watch. Set after season 1, so contains spoilery references. Rated T for some evil intent, a bit of blood, bad guys, alley ways, some bodily damage and hurt/comfort, and of course some good old fashioned fisticuffs. Episodicly canontastic.

'Hey, it's okay…' Foggy's voice has the qualities of a well-loved LP, a tired pop!hiss! ragged feel to it like this is a tune that's been played over and over. Matt struggles to remember what day it is. How to breathe. They both seem important.

When Foggy accidentally hurts Matt, he has some guilt that he has to work through. But little does he know that Matt does as well. Maybe it was just the Catholicism but Matt still feels just as guilty as Foggy; perhaps even more. Matt whump.
