I write because I need to write. If I don’t write it takes me over and I can’t think of anything else until I’ve put pen to paper, touched fingers to keyboard. It’s like a bubbling liquid sensation that starts somewhere in my mind and courses through my body until it can escape from my finger tips. I write because I love to write. I love to write as I love to read. To see the words across the page, to see the images those words conjure. For as long as I have been able to grasp the language I needed, I have written. I continue to write not only fanfiction (which is but my latest obsession), but short stories of my own imagining, poetry, songs, anything that requires my mind to connect once more with my fingers so that the words may flow.

If you have enjoyed reading those words that I have written, then I dedicate them to you. For without someone to read, someone to imagine and picture and enjoy, what are words but a series of markings on a page?

Never say never. Never forget.

I feel the need to add a little warning on here to all those who read:

I am not what one would describe as a "happy" writer. This is not to say that I do not smile, or that I am in myself anything other than overjoyed by writing and life in general - just that I do not by habit write tales that are solely positive. I do not always end with the 'Happily Ever After' that I find a lot of people expect. This said, I always try to give fair warning when I've gone more "dark" than usual, so if that’s not something you enjoy reading, then please heed the warnings at the top of the chapters.
