An alternative version of 'What you owe'. Different circumstances bring Lavellan and Solas together again, just weeks before the final confrontation between the elves and the Inquisition. Nothing can change, it's already too late. At least that is what they have come to believe.

When Solas reveals his true nature, he believes it will be the last time he will see Lavellan. Talitha is returning to her clan, leaving the Inquisition behind. But there are loose threads that have not forgotten the Inquisitor so easily, and the love of the dread wolf is not easily forgotten. Will solas stick to his convictions or will the dread wolf claim what is his?

What happens when your Inquisitor is not the bastion of hope you were looking for? How do the inquisition cope with a Herald that would rather be anywhere else but at the breach? Micah Trevelyan didn't ask for the mark and he's seriously considering chopping it off himself if it will get him out of having to play the reluctant hero.
