Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter.

Writing has been my passion since I was seven years old, and read my first real book. What I mean by a real book is one with chapters, with words above my age level, words that made my imagination soar. In all honesty, I cannot even remember what that book was, but I know I had fallen in love with it. Not just that book, but the words, the ink on the page, the binding that held it together, the author and his/her elegance and creativity, all of it became my world. I knew then that my one dream I would always have until the day I would die, would be to become a true writer.

Every day since, I had to write something. In school, my papers were seven or eight pages long instead of two like my fellow class mates. i had so many thoughts and ideas that I wanted to scream to the world, but my mouth couldn't form the words I wanted to use. Instead, I wrote them all down, and let them read what was going through my head.

Though it might seem weird, I have never been truly content with my writing. Once I put down a piece I might have been working on for months, I re-read it and come to find out that I want to change almost everything about it. That one of my characters did not come out as I wished them to, or that the scenery had too many or too less of details, and I knew I could have made it so much better. It has taken me a while to accept what I have written down and let others read it. Though, I admit even then, I still might not be happy about it.

Writing has become my life, but how could it not without books? Books that introduced the concept of writing on a page, books that had so many wonderful, beautiful, brilliant words that could have floated down from heaven. Books that allowed my mind to be freed of the prison society builds around us when we are children, and let me look into worlds I was told did not exist.

Those worlds do exist. The world of Krynn is real, with mages and Dragon Highlords, the world of Carpathian warriors and their vampire enemies, the world of Aslan and the White Witch. Mr. Scrooge and Tiny Tim, aliens who battle for Earth, a mouse who likes to ride motorcycles, wizards and witches of good and evil, demons and angels, sorcery and faeries, Peter Pan and Wendy, Bink and his world of Xanth, Bella and her love for a deadly vampire, all of them and their worlds do exist!

They live in the books we read.

So, reading and writing have become a part of me. I could not cut them off any more then I could cut off my own heart. I try my best when it comes to my own work. I won't publish something unless i think i have done everything I could do to it. Even then, I have always been open to opinions and criticism, because God knows I need it and so does everyone else at least one time in their line of work.

That's me. I would hope that you wouldn't need to know more.
