Where to begin? I'm a guy with aspirations of becoming a writer eventually. I've been reading fanfiction for quite a few years and figured I would write some of my own. I won't bore you with every detail of my life, but just know that I read the Lord of the Rings at 12 and my mind has been a clusterfuck of fantasy stories ever sense. I can't help it. Most of my stories will be based in the Harry Potter universe. If I ever build up the courage, big if, I might even take a shot at a Lord of the Rings epic. However, that won't be anytime soon. I would also like to say that I won't post anything that I'm not, at least, satisfied with. I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Criticism of my work is encouraged. I've never seriously written anything major before so I'm very open to any constructive advice, or interesting suggestions/ideas, that anyone is willing to share with me. I'm certainly not above anyones help or opinion. I don't have a beta at the moment. I expect that it will be a while before I actually post anything, but these are a few ideas i have floating around in my head: Untitled Harry Potter story: (I actually just might name this one Untitled for the hell of it.) Instead of going after Peter Pettigrew, Sirius does what he should have done in the first place. Take Harry and get of the country, and away from the Death Eaters. Whether or not I decide to go with a manipulative, or evil, Dumbledore is undecided as of right now. I've also toyed with the idea of Sirius having a son a little older than Harry. I've also considered writing this story from Sirius sons point of view. I just don't know that I can create a good character without just making him an almighty badass. As I've said I won't post anything I'm not happy with. Anyways, they would move to some interesting place that's not in England. the Triwizard Tournament...plus some: Basically America wants in on the Triwizard Tournament. So they would send a school, New Salem unless I just feel like inventing another school, to Hogwarts in the spirit of international cooperation, and because America just has to be involved in everything. I would have to invent at least one major OC so it'll be a while before I post anything. |
