Author has written 1 story for Pokémon.

The Badger Bard, a writer for fun for now, the story seen here is a gift that had been written previously and self published as a birthday gift for a close friend. While only two physical copies exist in the world, a story should be told and as such will be updated chapter by chapter until its completion once more. Of the work in my portfolio, Fall of the House of Valor and its eventual sequel are the only two stories I cannot sell due to licensing and intellectual property rights.

Everything else will be, some day. Though it would be neat to see it distributed on a large scale eventually, attempting to convince the proprietary owners it is a story to be told is a task akin to the 12 Labors of Hercules.

As far as me, writing about myself is outside of my skill sets; I'm better at building new universes and people to inhabit those realms. Brian Jacques, Alfred Hitchcock, and Bruce Coville are my inspiration; I can hope to aspire to be even a fraction as great as them but I have my own stories to tell. Wherever that path leads, it is mine to walk though I am open to discussing works, tips, and tricks of crafting whole stories. I'm sure I could say more, but I am at a loss for elaboration.

  1. Never be afraid to kill off a main character

  2. If you're ever stuck, end it; the sudden shock to the story could get you past your troubles.

  3. Don't be afraid to let your characters roam, sometimes letting them go is the only way they can move forward.
  4. Never let anyone pollute the vast depths of your creativity with their negativity.
Let's start this up.
Fall of the House of Valor reviews
A more realistic take on the popular universe centering in a new region. How do you handle a society that has already established its culture? How do you change a world that already sees itself only the one way? There will always be victims and victors, but to whom should the spoils go to? Where will Otter, Rabbit and Fox stand; victors or victims of the system?
