The principle role of the English teacher throughout primary and secondary school level would be to give instructions to students regarding the said subject and to supervise and record their individual progress in the school year. Also, they are required and expected to share course work and grade the student’s work. Also, they're responsible in preparing the students for the state and national examinations. Independent of the things mentioned, their role also involves the communication of progress of students for their parents through reports and parent - student conferences or meetings.
