Hi there, This account used to be from someone else, but for many months now it belongs to me, Moody Lighting 2 if you wish... she gave it to me because we have similar profiles (except the graduating part, this is not even close to hapen), and maybe someday I'll pass it to someone else... just like a curse, a disease. Because that's what fanfiction has become to me (damn you Moody 1, I have lots of things to do, I can't spend so much time here!). Ok, I decided to leave her old prefile, it fits me anyway, and if anyone is wondering what happened to the old Moody Lighting, I guess she is fine. Every once in a while I tell her there is a good story, she reads it or not, and we discuss. Not much to say about me. Except that I read. A lot. I also have to say that I'm possibly older than you. Within a couple of months I'll be graduating at English Language and Literature. However, having studied many classics just for classes, I completely lost my appetite for reading. Once a professor said to my class: "You are not supposed to read for pleasure - it's weak reading - you must go deep in the text, scrutinize it. Reading is a painful job." And there went my only hobby down the drain... Therefor, here I am! Not having to read for classes anymore, I'm allowed to regain my pleasure in reading! Of course, after so much (painful) time butchering all I read, I can't help but to analyse and sometimes interpret anything that crosses my eyes. But don't worry, I'm still here to have fun, healthy fun! Don't be afraid of what I may think of what you write. Just do your best, enjoy the experience (every new line is a new experience) and be committed to your work. If you work this way, hardly anything you do will be, well... suffering to your readers! With time we realize that there is a world behind each of this three advices I just gave. So be good to yourself and don't be overly critical (whether you think your text is the work of a genius or worth of toilet paper), everyone thinks and works at different levels, different rythms. Find yours, respect other's, and everything will end up just fine! Oh, and my English, or Portuguese, or Spanish, aren't perfect. Are yours? Whenever you notice a mistake, please tell me. But don't expect perfection. It doesn't exist. And another very important fact about me: I'm a woman. : D |
