I'm strange in that I don't follow a ton of anime at one time, but it's the only media I really like. My sister likes tween shows, so my parents have a jarring sibling combo. I was following FullMetal Alchemist and Hetalia, but FMA ended ;n; (I'm following the English dub.)

I'm also a fan of TV Tropes and Mangaminx's Let's Plays. The latter my best friend got me into, the former forces me to trope more than I watch/read. And being too nervous to do much on the Internet, I lurk a lot.

I speak English fluently, a fair amount of Japanese, enough Spanish to read most YouTube comments, and a bit of Italian. Expect me to throw in some badly mangled German (which I'm trying to learn), Hungarian (because I'm cosplaying Hungary this year and I really should know some), and Chinese (because I want to remember the phrases my friend teaches me so that she doesn't laugh at me like she usually does). This is because I'm trying to become a linguistics major and literary translator despite growing up monolingual, and I honestly can't help it sometimes. I throw myself at other languages so much I forget my native one. My friends are used to it, but I have to translate for them a lot. I know this comes off as annoying, but I really try not to... language is my second love, right after AUSTRIA~

Other stuff: I play the oboe (and suck, but I do try!), am on a diet because I'm chubby, am immediately recognized by face by the employees at my local Barnes & Noble (and they're pretty busy! XD), am probably the biggest Austria fangirl in the universe, am pretty young by Internet standards, and am subject to ranting. But I think you knew that already. =P
