Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. Hello! I guess I'll use this section to talk about the kind of stories I like to write, and a bit about the stories I've written. I think it's wonderful that so many people write about the main characters in Harry Potter, but I personally feel that minor characters need some love too! I've thoroughly enjoyed many stories about characters who are only mentioned a handful of times in the books, and feel like this type of writing allows us to flex our creative muscles a bit more. The stories I plan on writing will all feature either original characters, or minor characters, and I will try to cover a lot of the Wizarding World. My Name is Oliver Wood: I started this story back in 2015, and got about two chapters in before I had to set it down. Now a year later, I'm dedicated to updating it every Tuesday until its completion. I plan on this story only taking place before the books, but I'd be open to writing about Oliver Wood's experiences in Professional Quidditch in the future. I'm a huge soccer fan, and played Goalkeeper in High School. I thought it would be fun to mix some of my experiences with the soccer position with the Quidditch equivalent. I also played Muggle Quidditch for a bit in college, so you could say that I share Oliver's passion for the sport! I will admit the 150 point Snitch is bullshit though, but it does make writing an exciting game interesting. The Witch of Eye: The idea for this story came after a particularly disturbing nightmare. I like how it stands as a one shot, but I do have an idea for turning it into a larger plot if I have the time. |
