Fanfiction.net is one of my favorite places to come and read. I love to see how other authors use the I Dream of Jeannie characters, though for me, personally, I use my own characters in the worlds that I have created. When I write for specific shows, I always describe the characters I use and if I borrow another's (which rarely happens), then I do give credit. As a sorcerer, what inspired me to study the "artes magicaes/magical arts" are Bewitched, Charmed, the Arabian Knights, Shazzan, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Aladdin, and practically any books or moves or television that has anything to do with magic. I am a traditional sorcerer, meaning I practice any and all kinds of magic, white, black, grey. I am interested in magic, particular ceremonial and enochian magic which was developed by the Golden Dawn and Dr. John Dee. When it comes to my magical practices, I do things with a flair, just to create an atmosphere of magical workings. I write my own spells, though I do sometimes take other spells and tweak them for myself. Outside of being a sorcerer and working magic, I love to write and create my own stories, though mostly the stories are centered within specific shows or cartoons and then I write my own little world. Some of the books and stories I am writing concern I Dream of Jeannie/Djinni Fanfiction. Shazzan, the Arabian Knights, Bewitched, ect.

I am a huge fan of Harry Potter but I like to re-write the storyline to add more twists and plots, though my stories usually take place in America with the American versions of magic which are of my own. In order to help me write my stories, I usually try and place myself in the main character's place, so that I can see myself doing the same kind of magic that I am writing about.

American Magical Society:

American Ministry of Magic: Unlike the British Ministry of Magic, the American Ministry, is not corrupt and power hungry as the Brits are. American Magical Society are more accepting and tolerant of muggles, even some working in several American Schools of Magic. Pureblood traditions are not as common as muggleborns are more accepted and tolerant and more respected than those in the British Magical Society.

Schools of Magic: These are several schools that I have created. Each school is specifically set on a certain coast and region so that students do not have to travel far from their families, though some schools are not in certain states.

Atlantic Institute of Magic: This is a school of magic that exists for those who live on the Atlantic Coast in America. The school itself resembles a spacious and grand resort that spans spacious grounds. Various charms, spells, and illusions, hide it from prying eyes, though muggles who know of the school and know of magic, can see through them. The School itself is set on a large deserted island in the middle of the ocean. In order to get to the school, students are taken to the school via ferries, which are magically protected from the elements. It's colors are Cobalt Blue and Gold. Students are not required to wear robes.

New England Academy of Witchcraft and Sorcery: A prestigious school for witches and wizards of New England. Said to be one of the most illustrious schools in the country. This school pertains to the whole of New England. Unlike Hogwarts, the school does not pre-select it's students, though this school particularly chooses it's students. The school is set in Boston, Mass, in the countryside, in a old rustic beautiful mansion which is set on spacious grounds (imagine the old spooky mansions seen in Scooby Doo). The colors are Red and Gold. Students are not required to wear robes and are allowed to wear civilian clothing.

Southern Academy of Magic: The Southern Academy of Magic is a school that is set in the Southern part of the Country, and pertains to those in the Southern States ie: Alabama, Texas, Oregon, ect. The school is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and is set on spacious grounds in a grand colonial mansion. Much like any school in the Americas, the school does not pre select their students, instead, inviting all of the southern students to come. The school uniform is casual civilian. The colors are brown and white.

Wands:

Unlike the wands described in Harry Potter, those wands crafted in the Amercas are specifically designed for the student in question. There is no trying out the wands, as each wand is crafted specifically for that student. It is believed by American Wandmakers that doing so bonds the wand's magic to the student's magic therefore making it impossible to be used by another wizard or witch. Also, many wandmakers in the Americas branch from the traditional usage of magical cores to more mundane cores such as: snakes, horses, tigers, lions, birds, owls, eagles, bears, foxes, and several other kinds of muggle animals, though magical cores are also used as well. When it comes to wand woods, various trees are used and many can be found in the Americas such as: Redwood, Mahogany, Fir, Spruce, Oak, Willow, Myrtle, Lemon, Orange, Banana, Pecan, Walnut, Ash, Rowan, Magnolia...ect.
