After a year of deliberation and looking around, I finally am writing into this, previously blank, box...

I'm an avid reader, and I have been a fan of the vibrance the English language contains for very long, but I do not know if I can spin tales using words of my own. I won't know if I don't try, though, so here I am, risking a dive into the deep ocean of literature where hundreds drown, but the few who thrive emerge shining bright in their brilliance and leave emotions in their wake.

Because that is how I perceive stories. They are nought but feelings pictured in a reader's mind and put to pen. Or a word doc, hehe. Digital world and all.

But how I wish, as I read the stories the others wrote, that I had been born in the times when there existed no machines, no artificiality. Where everything came from nature and merged back to it.

Or in future! Oh, the future is so full of possibilities, and though we do not have the power yet to see through it, we have the ability to imagine, and I believe the future waits to be written on the basis of what we think it will bring to us.

Oh dear, I've strayed a lot from the topic, and thus shows my naivety. Forgive me, but thinking is wild, and for me, directing it is difficult.

But again, to find whether I can tame my wild thoughts, I have to try. So here I am, trying to direct my mind into doing some productive work by playing in a few of the legendary writers' sandboxes, and hoping that I can build onto those.

Hope I'll write something worthy of publishing here, one day...
