The Shanghai Learning Center of Beijing Language and Culture University offers Chinese summer camp for teens who want to learn the language. Our summer camp provides the best way for people to be fluent in Chinese, as well as learn about the culture of the country.

Participants of our Mandarin summer camp will stay in our university campus located in Shanghai. The summer camp lasts for 21 days. During their stay in our campus, we make sure that all our students are safe and comfortable during their stay.

The Shanghai summer camp is a full-immersion program that includes accommodation, meals, airport transfer and even laundry, just to name a few. A group of bilingual counselors will supervise the student 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Students who will take part in the study abroad China program will take part in language classes where they will take part in comprehensive lessons on conversational, reading, and writing the Chinese language. We encourage the students to study China culture through city field trips and excursions.

China summer camps have been designed to allow students to improve their Mandarin language skill, develop their interest in traditional Chinese culture, and learn more about the local people, their customs, as well as the social environment in the country. Our summer camps in China have experienced teachers that will make it easy to learn Chinese Mandarin. They utilize specially designed teaching materials to make each lesson more effective. Students are placed into small groups according to their Chinese language level and their age.

Aside from the full camp, Shanghai Learning Center also provides Day Camp and Family Camp. Day Camp is for kids who are staying with a host family in Shanghai. This learns Chinese China program doesn't include accommodation, and the final field trip is optional. Classes start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m., which include Mandarin and culture classes, as well as outings in the afternoon.

Family camp is for parents who also want to experience the culture and sights that the country has to offer. After the morning classes, the Chinese language school allows parents to join the camp. We also offer one on one Chinese language lessons for parents who also want to learn Chinese.
