![]() Name: Ripplescales Age: Between not telling and none of your business Gender: Male, thank you very much Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Location: Earth About me: What is there to tell really? I'm just your average guy who just so happens to write/read fanfiction. My personal favorites happen to be Naruto fics, whether or not they are crossovers or just regular fics. This is mainly because there is so much you can do with the whole Naruto universe, so creating something new isn't as hard as some may think. Incidentally, my favorite fic that I have read so far would have to be Ultimate Fairy by Ultimate10. This would be because it was something new and exciting to me, which is something that I really enjoy. Favorite Anime: Fairy Tail, Naruto, and Bleach. Mainly cause they were the first anime that I actually made the effort to watch all the episodes. Except for Bleach, I just stopped after Aizen was defeated. Favorite Movie: The Martian starring Matt Damon. Not only is Matt Damon one of my favorite actors, but it is an absolutely fantastic movie. I had to both read and watch it for a summer assignment, and I love the humor present throughout both of them. Favorite Book: Artemis Fowl series. I loved all of them, and will continue to go back and reread them today. Favorite Video Game: I probably should have mentioned this earlier, but I am a gamer. I like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Destiny, Halo, Ratchet and Clank, Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, and Dragon Quest IX, and Infamous Second Son, although my favorite game of all time is Persona 5. Quotes: "There's a very fine line between not listening and not caring. I like to think I walk that line every day of my life." - L. Church/Alpha (Red vs. Blue) "No. I... am your father." - Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker (Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back) "Yes, of course duct tape works in a near-vacuum. Duct tape works anywhere. Duct tape is magic and should be worshipped." - Mark Watney (The Martian) “If a hiker gets lost in the mountains, people will coordinate a search. If a train crashes, people will line up to give blood. If an earthquake levels a city, people all over the world will send emergency supplies. This is so fundamentally human that it's found in every culture without exception. Yes, there are assholes who just don't care, but they're massively outnumbered by the people who do.” - Mark Watney (The Martian) "It is not our abilities that define us. It is our choices." - Ezio Auditore da Firenze (Assassin's Creed Revelations) "They call me ...Prophet." - Prophet (Crysis 2) "None of you seem to understand. I'm not locked in here with you. You're locked in here with me." - The Internet "There is no such thing as overkill, only 'open fire' and 'I need to reload'." - The Internet "Dear humanity, We regret being alien bastards, we regret coming to earth, and we most definitely regret that the corps just blew up our raggedy ass fleet." - SgtMaj. Johnson. (Halo 2) "Y'know something? I really hate people. They're selfish, ignorant, loud, obnoxious pricks, with basically no redeeming qualities whatsoever! I mean really, look at all they've achieved: genocide, global warming, reality TV?! It's just a never ending parade of failures and fuck ups. They are without question a complete write-off species and how dare you make me care about them?!" - Kirito (SAO Abridged) "HOW?! Well it's quite simple really. You see GIRLY, there's one thing you didn't count on. My numbers are bigger than yours. Funny thing really, get to a high enough level, and your basically untouchable. My wounds heal faster than you can make them. We could do this all day and you would not be any closer to beating me, not that it wouldn't be fun. But, I've got good news. You see, there's no need to wonder where your god is, because he's right here, and he's fresh out of mercy." - Kirito (SAO Abridged) "Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing." - Optimus Prime (Transformers) "Even we, who ride the currents of time, cannot see past time's end." - Paarthurnax (TES: Skyrim) "Sometimes you must hurt in order to know, fall in order to grow, lose in order to gain, because life's greatest lessons are learned through pain." - Pein (Naruto) "I am lightning, the rain transformed." - Raiden (MGS4: Guns of the Patriots) Stupid Racist People... A black man walks into a cafe one early morning and noticed that he was the only black man there. As he sat down, he noticed a white man behind him. Copy this onto your site and help stop racism! OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE: Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered for having cultivated such valuable lessons as: knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate, teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch, and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion, or a band-aid to a student, but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband, churches became businesses, and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents Truth and Trust, his wife Discretion, his daughter Responsibility, and his son Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing. 16 THINGS TO DO AT WAL-MART 1. Get 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they aren't looking. 2. Set all the alarm clocks in Electronics to go off at 5-minute intervals. 3. Make a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the rest rooms. 4. Walk up to an employee and tell him/her in an official tone, "'Code 3' in housewares"... and see what happens. 5. Go to the Service Desk and ask to put a bag of M&M's on lay away. 6. Move a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area. 7. Set up a tent in the camping department and tell other shoppers you'll invite them in if they'll bring pillows from the bedding department. 8. When a clerk asks if they can help you, begin to cry and ask, "Why can't you people just leave me alone?" 9. Look right into the security camera & use it as a mirror, and pick your nose. 10. While handling guns in the hunting department, ask the clerk if he knows where the anti - depressants are. 11. Dart around the store suspiciously loudly humming the "Mission Impossible" theme. 12. In the auto department, practice your "Madonna look" using different size funnels. 13. Hide in a clothing rack and when people browse through say, "PICK ME, PICK ME!" 14. When an announcement comes over the loud speaker, assume the fetal position and scream, "NO! NO! It's those voices again!" 15. Go into a fitting room and shut the door and wait a while and then yell, very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here!" 16. Get several bouncy balls and throw them down an aisle shouting "Pikachu, I choose you!" Re-post this if you laughed...Or are planning to do any of these things |
