Many untold stories happened after Bellwether's arrest. From Judy's leg injury, to her reinstatement, her convincing of Nick to join her, awkward family conversations on both sides, Nick's training, and many more. This is a story of how a fox and bunny helped each other through those times, grow close, and develop a certain feeling for each other they never thought they would.

Taking place after the events in the Movie, starting directly after the Gazelle concert, the building feelings they both have to each other come to a head and take an unexpected turn. While mostly a slice of life as Judy and Nick find out more about each other, and try to figure out their relationship, loose ends from the missing mammals case will eventually emerge.

All is perfect until a killer shows up and leaves the victims skinned. Judy and Nick are thrown into a deadly game of cat and mouse as they follow the clues left by him to challenge them both. Follow Nick and Judy as they go on their first official date, in Tundra Town and on Valentine's Day of all days! Love blooms, feelings are deepened and understood as their actions speak louder than words.

Nick and Judy realize there's more between them than just friendship after he enlists some elephant-sized help getting her out of a particularly tight spot. This story can be read as a standalone, but I like to think it takes place shortly after my other story, Lives Unraveled.
