![]() Author has written 3 stories for Nightmare Before Christmas, and Six of Crows. Hello fellow fanfic readers and writers! I am FallenRiotforSweetRevenge. I'm not sure what to write here, so I 'll start with some basics. As you probably know, I have a NBC fanfic called Blindspot. NBC is one of my favorite animated movies. I love it so much that I made my own character and inserted her in Halloweentown. A little bit about Maris; Maris is an OC that is based off of an old (five plus years, give or take) character. Same goes for Adam. Actually, they were always a couple. Some of Maris background is similar to my original OC's background. A lot about them is similar, but they are still two different women. I was introduced to fanfiction by a friend in high school. I read her old fanfic that she is now embarrassed of. At first I read a ton of Maximum Ride fanfics and some Virals fanfics. I have also read quite a bit of Lunar Chronicles and a little Coraline. Of course I read a ton of NBC, as you could probably guess. You may have noticed that I am a reader. If you want a recommendation, PM me and tell me what you like. I'll see what I can do. Even though I really love reading, I don't read fanfics for all of my fandoms. I know, mind blowing, isn't it? The best answer I can give to that is that I only read fanfics for fandoms that I did not get closure in. Like if I wanted a different ending, my ship didn't sail, I just need more of my OTP, or I just wanted to see something else happen, I'm more likely to read fanfics of it. Example: I LOVE the Shadowhunter's novels (Mortal Instruments) but I have not read any fics in this fandom because there just haven't been any loose ends that I want closure in (though after finishing Lord of Shadows this might change). Another example: The Raven Cycle series. I absolutely loved those, but the end is satisfying so I haven't had any desire for more. I absolutely loved the idea of writing in the universe of some of my favorite stories, but I never thought I would write one of my own. That changed when I came up for the concept of Blindspot. It was just too good to pass up! It took me a while to come up with a name once I decided to make an account. You see, I've been reading fanfics for just over four years, but I didn't become a member until posting Blindspot. In case you have not guessed, the name is a compilation of cd album titles. Fallen-Evanescence, Riot!-Paramore, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge-My Chemical Romance. As many of you know, writing is challenging. I usually come up with a concept first when I get an idea for a story (duh). Then the ending, which is easy for me, and after that comes some stuff closer to the beginning. Beginnings are tough for me; I don't always know where to start a story. Middles are the most difficult, though. I can know events that need to happen, but I struggle with filler. So that's it for me! Please read my story, or if you need any fanfic recommendations, check out my favorited fanfics. They may not be from your fandom but you might surprise yourself. Both Surviving Detention and 1-800- CAPTAIN are AUs so you don't need to be familiar with the original stories to enjoy them. Staying with Jack and Sally would definitely be better if you have watched Nightmare Before Christmas, but you probably don't have to have seen it to like it, but the movie is only an hour and 15 minutes so watch it. Just read them. They are awesome. |
