So yeah. I actually don't know how I came across fanfiction, but I do remember the first story I ever attempted to read on this site. It was a Post Harry fanfic, about his and Ron's children's adventures at Hogwarts. I was probably around 11/12 then. Dayum. Next time I came across fanfic was like a year and a half ago, a masterpiece DBZ fanfic called Triple Identity. I was utterly disappointed when I came to realise this was one of the few good DBZ fanfics. The rest were half arsed attempts that just didn't capture my attention. Now I'm an utter addict. I read Jily fics all the time. I think I've read all the decent 60k fanfics on fanfiction.net now, so that's kinda sad. I've re-read a few now already.

Anyway, so while I was reading these fanfics, I would invent scenarios for the characters, and what should happen next. I tried to be all descriptive, like actually writing a story in my head. I found I rather enjoyed it (despite it taking a gobsmacking amount of time) and made myself write a chapter. I showed it to a friend who LOVED it, which really encouraged me to write more.

So yeah, hopefully I'll eventually finish off this Jily fic and it'll be one of those amazing ones like The Life And Times and Five Minutes and Tears on the Balcony :D.

Good Lord, they are incredibly stories. No way in hell am I at their level, but hopefully I will be one day. I aspire to do an English degree so this is all good practice right?
