Author has written 1 story for Fallout, and Warhammer.

I've been building this fantasy for years and I finally decided to record it. Lo and behold, it turned into an even bigger, more convoluted fantasy. The shear volume of this epic tale stored in my brain will surely crush my eyeballs and crack my skull. It's become a consuming obsession. My inner hikikomori has broken down the closet door. I need help sealing that gaping portal. Writing is an addiction. I know the depravity of your soul, fellow writers.

I've heard that the triumph of evil is contingent upon the laziness of good men. So I sat perfectly still in my room for three years. Guess what. I became evil.

My writing style betrays my personality. Sometimes I'm thrilled by my story, but then I read it again and all I can see is how narrow-minded and boring and devoid of substance and morality it really is. I'm an OCD editor, but does it help? I dunno. It is what it is. I didn't fantasize the damn thing chronologically. So why should I write it that way? I'm writing the Post-Apocalyptic Penitent completely freestyle, not knowing myself most of the time what will happen next. The first five chapters are an introduction. Sorry, I got carried away. Six chapters later, the story begins in the Capitol Wasteland.

Some of my favorite authors are Tsugumi Ohba, Neal Stephenson, Alastair Reynolds, Isaac Asimov, Chuck Palahnuik, Mark Twain, Charlotte Bronte, and Jane Austen. I've always heard that if you're going to copy someone, copy the classics. Me, I burgle everything that floats my boat. To cite the major sources: Fallout, Warhammer 40K, Psycho-Pass, Death Note, Black Butler, Walking Dead, Witcher, Push, Jumper, Heroes, Radiohead, Closet Land, Merlin, Elder Scrolls, Harry Potter, Naruto, Bleach, Kamisama Kiss, Saiki K., Chronicles of Riddick, Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, Elric of Melnibone, Hellsing, Akira, Dungeons and Dragons, Lord of the Rings, and Wheel of Time. (Some of my lines come straight from songs, but nobody knows 'em cause they're so oblique.)

Intellectual honesty be damned.

There are some nice stories on this site about the mundane world, but I prefer my protagonists to have unfair advantages in unforgiving worlds. My imagination will surely fail as characters are introduced and battles escalate, but if so, I can always draw inspiration from the Warhammer 40K universe (Eldar and DE, of course - the Imperium of Man doesn't exist yet, nor does Slaanesh, so they're all the same). My biggest challenge then will be to keep the good guys from going bad.

Eh, never mind - that's already a challenge. It's all a matter of perspective, you could argue (good and evil, that is), but you still have to defend your perspective convincingly. My favorite example of this is Mark Twain's Letters from the Earth--a hilarious review of Christianity written by Lucifer. Though I really shouldn't criticize the Bible here - after all, it's basically fanfiction. Before I started writing, I was always inexplicably attracted to the villains. Now I know why - they're the most interesting characters you can invent - they're the true architects of the tale. I love 'em all. I want them to win. I guess that's why my good guys are rather suspect in the moral department. I can't imagine a character that doesn't despise their social environment. My goal is to become an Eldar WH40K player. I don't have the money for all the figures. Not to mention the paint...

Anyway, I'm an amateur story teller and this is an exercise. I haven't yet mastered engaging the reader, so it may be a hard read. I'm whistling in the dark here.

So yeah, it's rated M, but I'll try not to get too masturbatory and stick to the important stuff. I like philosophical themes, but I don't know if I can pull it off. What would you do if you were placed in such a situation? What could you do, given the premise. Not what the protagonist in the anime did, I'd bet. When would you break? How would you break? And so on. Really, I'm not in this to rape every character I've ever loved. I just love watching them squirm. No fluff, little romance, more smut, lots of buffoonery and violence and intrigue. Hope it entertains and arouses thought. This is probably not the best venue for that though.

As of this moment, I have zero reviews and zero followers, so I'm guessing it's all utter crap. All the same, I'd like to hear you say so. Obviously I only post this because I'm an exhibitionist. I worry that I don't explain well enough that I do not condone the behavior of the characters. (If I posted disclaimers every time I shook the Devil's hand, there'd be no story. Rule #1: Never break immersion!) Most of them aren't mine to begin with - only faithful renditions. Read the freakin Bible and get back to me. I'll respond accordingly. Don't be shy, anonymity is the ultimate defense. Oh crap, I just realized that nobody has read this far.

Well then, I might as well tell you - I'm going to erase EVERYTHING and start all over again once I figure out how to write. Plagiarize the shit out of it. What do I care? It isn't mine! It's only a dream. A sick, sick dream. Fuck me, I'm going to Hell.

The Post-Apocalyptic Penitent
A sorcerer and a psyker scheme to save the world by creating a goddess. Will their scheme succeed? Who knows. It doesn't seem likely when the child of prophesy is born in the Capitol Wasteland. Few can comprehend the convoluted machinations of the dynamic duo. Here be a tale of terrible dimensions. Click not, lest thine fragile mind be dragged o'er the coals of perversion.
