Picking up right after John Bender pumps his fist into the air in triumph, this story explores the immediate aftermath of the events of the movie and how Bender, Claire, Andrew, Allison, and Brian struggle to reconcile that life-changing morning with the rest of the world that seems to be telling them they're wrong.

Chapter 1: It's 2015, and yet, 5 students find themselves stuck in the same Saturday detention.

No one attended the Saturday detention on March 24th 1984, with the exception of John Bender. But then, who was John Bender? He was a nobody. And Claire Standish was a somebody. They'd never so much as locked eyes with each other for longer than three seconds, never mind actually holding a conversation. So why were they so drawn to each other?

Saturday detention was only the beginning.

A fanfic about Claire/Bender. Includes all the characters from TBC. Claire and Bender start a relationship, it has it's ups and down like any other relationship with people threatening it for them. Claire's mum has left the family home and hasn't be heard from for days. John tries to deal with temper, but struggles big time. Andy and Allison try to get a relationship going too.

The stage is set to begin the day after that unbelievable and unforgettable day in detention. This story, may just end too soon for all of those involved. Let's just say, everyone has flaws while others have defects.
