News on The Fics (Sept. 1)
I've just completed my first songfic, "Your Touch in My Dreams", inspired all of a sudden whilst sitting here and realizing I haven't been to the site in a month. Surprise!
My works-in-progress down there are on hold as noctepanther (you can find him linked below or dominating my favorite stories list) and I work on a collaboration.
It's gonna rock.

And now back to your regularly-scheduled rambling...

So then...hi. Name's Mango, or whatever the heck else you want to call me. Really doesn't matter. I joined up as a result of peer presure from my two bestest friends, and not wanting to end up overburdenning noctepanther with whatever fics show up after Broken Heartline. I will admit; it is more fun than I had thought it would be, but I'm not addicted. Don't listen to him if he tries to tell you otherwise.

I will probably write a wide assortment of oddities, just to give you warning. Like my first fic ever, Broken Heartline. I wrote that thing and I've never even laid eyes on that game. Ever. So if something seems OC or just totally unreasonable, that's why.

Je parle un peu de français,et je suis en ma quatrième anée de français à l'école. J'adore la langue. C'est mieux d'anglais. Peut-être, je l'emploieai dans mes fics.

I'm an angry liberal hippy, politically and stuff. In a mostly conservative town. Now that's a blast. Was once-upon-a-time in Debate, Forensics, and Discussion, but due to our school totally sucking, can't be anymore. Program no longer exists.

I have two cats, Wiskers Ferdinand II, who turned six (my baby's growing up! -tear-) on July 2nd, and Spaz Nathaniel I, who just turned a year in February. And a Betta, whose name is Fishy. How's that for imagination? Oh yes; and five herb babies. And a pea patch which has been overgrown and is home to some outdoor herb experiments in the off season. I like to grow things. Which is one of the reasons I'm such a botnerd. Love my plants. Especially my baby trees. Think it helps to be a hippy ;p .

Outside of my writing, which lately mostly consists of poetry, really, I do all sorts of things. I knit. Obsessively. And I keep a knitting blog. But you're not going there. Where you can go, however, is my myspace. Nevermind the blogs. You can also wander your way to my fictionpress account for a peek at a little of my poetry and the story I started. I love to take pictures. All the time, of all sorts of things. My computer is mostly full of stuff I've shot and edited. I also am an enormous music nut. I play bass clarinet in band (and totally rock the bassline :p), and dabble in some other stuff outside. I also write it when the fancy strikes me. I'm always listening to something; anything but hip-hop and rap. Literally.

To explain the pen name, as I know someone somewhere sometime will ask, I am often refered to as Mango (long story),and due to the nature of the majority of my poetry/other writing, Angstgirl. Which was my first choice for a pseudonym here, but oh well. Mango of Angst works just as well.

Oh, yes, and I play videogames. The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Halo (and 2), We Love Katamari, the Legacy of Kain series, Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry series, and of course, the best RPGs to have ever been made for the Playstation: Final Fantasy. Love them. Anyway, others: lightly play Splinter Cell and SOCOM when I get a little bored, Gran Turismo III, Suikoden III, miscellaneous RPGs I've likely rented and forgotten, oh, and Dark Cloud...which I have yet to beat. Sad, I know. I keep forgetting about stuff when I go back to play it. Then, the pwnage: DDR. Love it. Just got up to being able to get Bs on heavy songs. Woo! Only been playing steady for about four months, too.

And I'm not even gonna try to list all the stuff I've read. I've loved waaay too much of it to bother trying to list the favorites. I read almost as much as I knit, and that's really saying something.

Oh yeah, and I almost forgot to mention: I am the one that, as far as I know, started usuage of the term SDoL. So there. :p

OK, I'm done rambling for now. For now...
