![]() Author has written 31 stories for Wrestling. Beyond The Mat: Quality remains our primary focus. The group of writers who make up Beyond The Mat have been a core group since 2010. We celebrated our three-year anniversary of friendship and co-writing in late May 2013. Sometimes, we change it up. More or less, we stick to our stories once we commit to them. What we don't do is expect our readers to forget things we've written (like WWE Creative is notorious for), but you can consider one-shot pieces as one-offs. Chapter pieces generally dovetail with our long-term work. You might be confused by mentions of children. The children are shuffled from time to time, so if you read all of our work, don't think you missed something or misread; we have experimented with different relationships and faces and names. But if the work remains, it's because we still liked the result and won't pull a piece unless we're not satisfied with it. We won't confuse people further by doing back-edits and re-writes of things we've released; we hope you don't hold it against us. It's not us being lazy; it's just leaving things that aren't broken, fixed. We have always kept an eye on detail, trying to make the characters "come to life" in both pleasant and unpleasant ways. If you take something, anything away from our work, hopefully it's a memory or an imprint. Hopefully, we've made you think. There are some "foofy", fun pieces scattered here and there, but sometimes, when we go dark and edgy, we may cross lines. And that wasn't an apology. We love what we do. Disclaimer: The authors of Beyond The Mat fan fiction do not, in any way, profit from the stories, and all creative rights to the characters belong to their original creator(s). |
