![]() Who will even read this? Here we go... I'm 25, married, kids. Kind of new to Twilight. I just finished reading the books and must say I quite enjoyed them. The movies are extremely overrated, however. I discovered this site when I Googled some things about Twilight and decided to check it out. Been here every since. It's a very addictive site. The first story I read was Atlas Shrugged by jessiechreesie and I highly recommend it to anyone who felt like burning their copy of Eclipse after Bella kissed Jacob. I felt so disgusted when reading that moment that I literally had to put the book down. Then Edward's reaction to it was horrible. How come he gets mad if Mike thinks of Bella sexually, but when he basically watched his mate cheat on him, he's okay??? Personal favouritism from the author is suspected here. Atlas Shrugged really helped me like Bella again because honestly after Eclipse, she didn't deserve Edward any more. Not that Edward is without fault, but he didn't deserve that. I mostly read Edward and Bella stories, but I have a soft spot for Edward and Tanya(mainly because Bella should've had some type of competition as well). Other than that, I am religiously Canon with my couples. I would never read a story where it's Bella with anyone else. Hypocrite you say, since I could read Edward and Tanya stories??? Yes I know, but I had to read enough about Jacob trying to get her in the books and it really got to me so that feeling just carried over to all the stories I read here. I like both Vampire and Human stories, but I do prefer vampire stories more. Incubus Anomaly by elusivetwilight is so good and very sexy! Oh what's with my pen name and avatar you ask? Well, I remember a time when- now correct me if I'm wrong- the only Vampire/Gothic romance movie was the 1992 version of Bram Stoker's Dracula. I really love that movie and although they added the love story between Mina and Dracula in the movie, they still remain my favorite vampire/human couple. Why? Because Dracula was still evil, still a vampire. Dracula didn't try to change what he was, he relished in it, embraced it. He was more than just a vampire. The word vampire doesn't even hold a candle to Dracula. He is clearly in a league of his own. It was so taboo for me to love something so evil. It was dark, sexy and forbidden! See, there is proof that a vampire can be pure satanic evil and still love a human! It was also a time Before.They.Sparkled! *did ya catch that* That would have to be the only thing I don't like about Twilight Vampires is that they sparkle. I guess I'm more into classic vampires than the "New Age" ones. Thanks for stopping by. |
