Summary: AU. Set in the (rather magically adapted version of the) late 1600s. Blaine is the son of one of the new Governors and is following him to the New World accompanied by Wes and David. Kurt is the prodigal (if slightly fashion forward) son of legendary pirate Captain Burt Hummel. When Blaine's ship (the Warbler) is invaded by the fearsome crew of the Hudmmel (which he is quick to point out, could sound slightly more frightening) he is taken for ransom and ends up entangled in all out war between enemy pirate ships and the government he grew up in.
