After spending many years in a dark crystal castle, Darklight decides to escape. On his way out, he sees the truth about his father, King Sombra. As Darklight escapes, he gets trapped in the arctic, and gets frozen for nearly 1000 years. He now has to face this new world, and find out what happened to his father, and his plan for taking over Equestria.
