I loved the RWBY series. But then they turned bad when Monty Oum died and the roles of writing the story were turned over to lesser men. Me and a couple of friends sat down to discuss the state of the series and what we would do if we wrote it. As the three of us met and talked more and more over the weeks, we realized that we could write our story as a fan fiction. After about five meetings, we started writing the story in small fragments rather than whole chapters so we could get an idea of what we wanted to happen and how certain scenarios would play out. It also gave us the opportunity to adjust characters whom might be acting out-of-character.
