 Author has written 24 stories for Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Red Dwarf, Supernatural, and Pirates of the Caribbean. - December 2014: Unfortunately, I have less time to write than I would like. I have several projects running, but I wouldn't want to start posting on a story I don't know when, if ever, I am going to finish. I'm currently caught up in the SPN fandom, but I am not using this site as my primary platform anymore, so updates here might continue to be slow(ish). - My greatest interest in terms of fanfiction is Sherlock Holmes, and that has been my first published journey into fanfiction. Sherlock Holmes will be what I post mostly. Usually, I stick to ACD's canon. I do love the Granada series, as well as the 1954 adaptions and the BBC series, but I will not write anything movieverse'09. Canon is now public domain, but just as a general rule: all canon characters were created by ACD and do not belong to me - since I am not ACD ;-). However, any original character does belong to me, and may not be used without my explicit permission. The most up-to-date version of my stories can be found over at LJ (click Homepage), however, I will be catching up here. Currently, I am working on a trilogy of full-length mysteries. The first is posted completely, the second as well. The third is plotted, and in the progress of being written. I recommend to read them in order. The Singular Affair of the Announced Crime (complete) The Curious Case of the Riders of Apocalypse (complete) #3 The Adventure of the Thames Murderer (WIP, estimated posting date: later 2014) Recently, I have been very much enjoying BBC's adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, called Sherlock - all credits to the BBC and Messrs Moffat and Gatiss - and New Doctor Who, particularily David Tennant as Tenth Doctor - all credits to BBC and Russell T. Davies as the creator of New Who up to series 4. And yet more recently (2013), I have started writing a bit for Red Dwarf (copyright Grant Naylor Productions and BBC) and Harry Potter (Marauder Era) (created by J.K. Rowling). Plus, I've now (2014) been sucked into the Supernatural fandom (copyright CW and Erik Kripke). Look out for some fics in those fandoms, coming soon! And finally, a quick heads-up concerning pairings. I usually do not write stories for the sake of exploring a pairing, and am therefore unlikely to ever write anything for a pairing that is not explicitly mentioned in canon, and even in that case romance will not be an object of my fic. I.e. I might refer to Rose loving the Doctor, or to Watson being married to Mary, but the plot won't revolve around the pairing - I am always balancing on the razor's edge of attempting not to make a bigger deal out of relationships than the original canon, though of course that is subject to everyone's personal interpretation. And I stick to that rule for all kinds of pairings, both hetero- and homosexual - you are just as unlikely to find Doctor/Donna here as you are to find Holmes/Watson. It's not a rule I find easy in all cases (I've been sorely tempted by Dean/Cas(!!!), Holmes/OC, Rimmer/Lister...), but I try to stick to it. If I ever do not, I will most definitely warn you in the author's notes. All that aside, if you want to read your own personal subtext into any of my fic, feel free, I honestly do not mind.
