Despite the smoke and mirrors, it's obvious Tony's a highly flawed and complex individual who has secrets. No one had a clue that he hides a MOAS, one though, that could rip apart the fabric of society if it were ever to come to light. After almost 2 decades though Tony feels like his secret is fairly safe, which only goes to show that he shouldn't let his guard down...not ever.

Tony agrees to look after a friend's son as a favour - he may wish he hadn't! This is AU - very AU but hopefully the characters will still be recognisable. Now complete.

This story is based on the idea that Tony quit NCIS rather than be reassigned as Agent Afloat. More than a decade later he meets up with the team again. (I had a similar premise in another story (Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot) but this one goes in a completely different direction and the two are not connected). All the team involved. Gibbs goes on vacation and the team are reassigned in his absence. That's bound to go well. Or not!

A year on from Take a Deep Breath. Tony and Tim, undercover, met a familiar face or two.

Out of adversity can come great change and personal growth. Sometimes it's easier to settle for second best, sometimes we don't even realise we're doing it, to we feel we don't deserve better. The day Stoick returns, and the day before the best recruit is finally chosen, Hiccup leaves Berk; little knowing that he would one day return under ... strange circumstances.
