![]() Author has written 16 stories for Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock, and Radio Dramas. Jessamy Griffith fell down the rabbit hole of fandom on the 16th of April, 2011. Friends are to blame for that big SHOVE in the back. Apparently a blameless life of inoffensive geekdom wasn't enough. All of Jess's friends gasped when they understood that Jess hadn't ever really written a fanfic or looked at fanart before. "Why don't you read/look at THIS?" they said. And I was finished. Since that fell day, Jessamy has made up for lost time. Has made thus far one fanart, and is working on a fanfic of a fanfic. Where does it end?? Jessamy prefers the 19th century, though the new Sherlock series is an incredible intellectual turn-on. So, things like Sherlock Holmes (or The Unattainable, as I call him), Richard Sharpe (James Bond of the Peninsular War), Aubrey/Maturin (Sigh...how sweet they are) are right up J.'s street. Slash? Sure, why not. All the doujinshi in Japan is mostly m/m stuff anyway, and more power to you fangirls, for being such incredible artists and sharing your love! Jessamy is openminded, and likes a good story, regardless of gender, position or fandom. Stories on Board - by on board, I mean I freaking STILL am not done. Making the Connection - based on a prompt from the sherlockBBC kinkmeme. Still WIP, both on LJ, AO3, and Fanfic net. Due to a month long 'net free vacation in the middle, it's posted on two parts of the meme. First section on Prompts Part 17, page 12 - Second section on the Overflow Post, page 4 - *New* Fanart for Making the Connection Two lovely people have done fan art for Making the Connection, both pieces are for Chapter 10. They are NSFW, and spoiler-y for Chapter 10. Read. Then go look! WhisperElmwood's sketch of HawkJohn and Sherlock (She says unfinished but worth linking nonetheless! It's lovely!) at: grumpyjumper's painting (with such vibrant colours and iconographic composition! So great) of John and Sherlock at: 'Study in Slime' is still on hiatus, likely to be so for a long time. I still have plot written and ready, but got a bit burned out. When I finish off or get tired of 'Making the Connection', I'll get back to it. It IS my first fanfic ever after all, who forgets their first? But burned out? yes. New story to come soon, yes another flipping WIP - Westmoreland. Based on the folk song, a medieval magical-realism AU of John's journey to find and be healed by the Witch of the Westmoreland, a tall pale-eyed man. Does Sherlock have enough power to cleanse John of his cursed wound? Does he have the heart to mend John's? Currently hosted on LJ's sherlockBBC comm: |
