"NOOOOO YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!!!''

I was by my sister Maggie on my knees and we all cried out in horror whenever we saw Glenn's body fall to the ground. My fiancé Carl had my right hand in a dead lock grip but I was soon hauled to my feet whenever a man spoke from behind us, it had to have been one of the guards.

"She's one of those mutants from the CDC Negan, I swear it. She has the same mark on her like those other ones did that we've murdered.''

My shirt was ripped into shreds while Negan tore it from my neck down to reveal the long black elegant looking line I had from under my jaw line that wound all the way to my navel where it ended, it had my body shaking, I wanted to change so badly but the pleading look that I was getting from Carl kept me from doing so.

"Well i'll be damned if she does...why don't we let her and her lover boy go fellas? We know what will happen if we don't, as a matter of fact...bring him up.''

I whimpered when Carl was yanked up with me and they let us hug eachother and when several shots rang about I was frozen in anger. The bodies of all of our group fell to the pebbly grass and it was like all I saw was red.

Thank god Daryl was able to stay back in Alexandria...

I had to hold Carl back some and I couldn't help the flow of tears down my face when I looked at my sisters body, the busted up region of her belly showed everyone the baby that had been forming in her abdomen but was now gone..

"Hey Lily come on, we have to go. They're letting us go.''

10 hours later...

We had managed to make it to the town of Salem where Maggie and I had originally come from and when we found the first vehicle we saw we tried to sleep on it the night they let us go. Now that it was morning I was wide awake even more than what I was yesterday and I used it to my advantage, bouncing up and down until Carl woke up and stepped outside with me. The sun was hot and it felt amazing on my black angelic like wings that flapped out from my shoulders.

"So he was serious about that? What did they do to you?''

"I'm not totally sure, I just woke up with Maggie on a road near the CDC in Washington a few weeks ago. All I really know is that they only messed with me and im...well I'm a freak Carl.''

He shook his head and removed the eye patch for a minute from his eye to let it air out and then put it back, his deep blue eyes wondering about while he turned his head to the left and to the right.

"Like I've said before, I think you're just fine the way you are but whatever. We should be getting back to the farm because you know how Daryl gets...I don't know why you told them that he was back in that damned town...''

We began a slow walk then, I hopped carefully among the pebbles and rocks like air while he trudged over them without a care. He swore everynow and then when one would pierce his foot and after about a mile of walking I had to stop him.

"Hey now stop that...we are ok, we made it...Don't you think we should focus on a part of our forever we promised eachother when we were kids??''
