Otherwise known as 'when Shinra starts talking crazy, run like hell' When Shinra decides to try out some of Celty's less-than-tested abilities on Izaya without his knowledge, things quickly go downhill. It starts with an innocuous conversation about soulmates, it ends- Well, Izaya's going to have to figure that out, just as soon as he stops seeing gold everywhere.

He can't really remember what life was before he met Iwaizumi. But life with Iwaizumi is bright, sunny days filled with the warmth that lingers in your hair and seeps beneath your skin. Laughter that bubbles just below the surface, waiting to be released with each exhale in the warm summer air.

After years of fighting, Izaya decides he is no longer interested in playing with Shizuo. He decides to go out and tell the 'brute' just that so hopefully, they can move on with their lives. Unfortunately, Shizuo misunderstood! He thinks Izaya doesn't want to fight him because the 'flea' is in love with him leaving the whole of Ikebukuro in chaos.
